We do not charge for anything today. This page explains how refunds would work if that changes.

Nothing Is Charged Today
Code For Bharat is a volunteer community and an initiative of Mayash Foundation. We do not currently sell any services, events, merchandise or memberships, and we do not collect payments on this website. So there is nothing to cancel or refund.

If anyone asks you to pay to join Code For Bharat or one of its projects, please check with us first using the contact details below.
If We Introduce Paid Events or Items
We may later offer some paid events (for example, to cover venue or catering costs) or merchandise. If we do, we will update this page before taking any payment, and the following will apply:
Clear Terms Before You Pay
The price, what it includes and the cancellation terms will be shown before you pay.
If We Cancel
If we cancel a paid event or cannot supply an item, you will get a full refund of the amount you paid to us.
If You Cancel
Your refund will depend on when you cancel, as stated in that event's or item's terms. As a general rule, the earlier you cancel, the more we can refund.
Damaged or Wrong Items
If an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, we will replace it or refund it. See our Shipping Policy.
What We Cannot Refund
We refund only what you paid to us. We cannot refund your travel, accommodation or other costs.
How Refunds Are Paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. We will tell you the expected timeline when we approve a refund. Your bank or payment provider may take a few extra days to show it.
How to Ask for a Refund
Email support@mayash.org with:
- Your name and the event or item
- Your payment or order reference
- The reason for your request
We aim to respond within a few working days.
